After Courier was handed to me on quite a few places where other fonts should be I decided to take what I saw and mess a bit. Run Courier through the wringer or filters, Xeroxes and yet more filters and this is what you end up with. First step is to print the letters, Xerox into oblivion, re-scan into the computer, do some Photoshop filter work, take the outlines into freehand and filter-ize even more... mostly drip and some KPT vector effects and eventually everything kind of gets out of focus. Hand pick the final letters and you're off. The name came from a local despot of font distribution who claimed he was never a pirate, everything he did was legal. How can I get it?
