the angular anguish....
I was sitting down with
the idea that I had not
created a font in quite
a while one day when
suddenly I generated
this on a whim. After
the initial response
that I got from some
friends, I decided it
was good enough for
disco and here it
is.
How
it was
Created?This
font was created using a
powerbook 3400/200 using
only Fontographer and
it's many internal
tools. Each point was
clicked manually and
done admittedly in some
hurried fashion. I think
that the initial designs
for this face took me
about two hours, though
the final font files
after all the final work
was complete eventually
took a couple weeks. The
biggest problem of
course is the fine
tuning needed for the
outline face and the
"thin" version The
inspiration for this
typeface came from some
really bad and easily
forgotten movie that
allowed me more than
enough time during the
film to doodle on the
'book and create this
font.
